The mineralization was noted during GSC mapping in 1984. The Emerald cl (YA62864) were staked on geochem anomalies a few km to the northwest by Argent Project (Rio Alto EL, Radex Res L, ABM Mg Group Inc, Ebony Res L, Welcome North) in 1981.
