Work History
Staked as Helen Gould cl (8159) in Aug/11 by G. Ortell on the left limit of Red Creek, 16 km above the mouth.
Kennecott Canada Inc. staked Red cl 1-54 (YB44582) 5 km to the NW and Black cl 1-32 (YB44638) 8 km to the NW in May/95. Both claim groups are actually located on map sheet 116A 01. In Oct/96 Kennecott added Red cl 55-94 (YB65078) to its claim block.
Capsule Geology
The Red and Black claims are underlain by Upper Proterozoic - Lower Cambrian Hyland Group metasedimentary rocks that have been intruded by Mid-Cretaceous felsic intrusive rocks of the Tombstone suite.
