Work History
First staked in Jul/91 as Rog 1-76 cl (YB18437) by Kennecott Canada Inc. which tied on Strike 7-42 cl (YB19918) in Oct/91 and performed a reconnaissance geological and geochemical survey in 1992.
Capsule Geology
The Strike claims are underlain mostly by black shale and chert of the Ordovician to Lower Devonian Road River Formation, and the Rog claims mostly by black pyritic shale of the Lower Earn Group (Middle Devonian).
On the Strike claims, soil anomalies are associated with elevated Ag, Cu, Cd, Ni, As and Sb values. On the Rog claims, silts had anomalous Zn, Ag, Cu and Ba associated with ferricrete gossans, but soil values were mostly low.
