Work History
Staked as ERN cl (YA23045) in Jul/78 by E. Wedekind. The south side was restaked as Ran cl (YB9068) in Nov/87 by Prime Capital Corp and optioned to Argo Dev Corp, which explored by mapping, soil sampling, airborne geophysical surveys and ground magnetic surveys in 1988.
The Ran claims were transferred to A. Carlos in Feb/92. One year later, Carlos optioned his Grew Creek claim holdings to YGC Resources Ltd.
YGC carried out a large exploration program in 1993 which included diamond drilling, line cutting, soil sampling, geophysics and trenching throughout the Grew Creek property. As part of this project excavator trenching was carried out on the Danger Creek showing (Ran Claims). In 1994 YGC drilled 14 holes (1307 m) in the South and Main Zones located approximately 12 km to the southeast. In Oct/94 ownership of the Ran claims was transferred to YGC Resources Ltd.
Capsule Geology
The claims are located in an area of extensive overburden along the Tintina Fault but are probably underlain by Permo-Pennsylvanian sedimentary and volcanic rocks of the Anvil Allochthon.
