Work History
Staked as Jon cl (Y75101) in Mar/73 by Ridgement Mg Corp L (Cyprus), which explored with soil sampling later in the year. Restaked by Pelly River Synd in Jul-Sep/75 as Reg cl (Y98046) on the east, which were sold to Thunderwood EL (Northern Homestake ML), and as Con cl (YA3352) on the west, which were sold to Olympian Int Res L and explored with mapping and geochem sampling in 1976.
Capsule Geology
The claims occur in an area of extensive overburden but probably cover a faulted contact between Cambro-Ordovician quartzose siltstone and chert to the northwest, Devonian Portrait Lake Formation clastic rocks to the northeast and Cambro-Ordovician basalt and tuff to the south. Erratic anomalous lead, zinc and copper soil values were reported in 1973.
