General Information
Abstract: Clinton Creek asbestos deposit is 77 km northwest of Dawson City on Clinton Creek in Yukon Territory. Eight samples of the Nasina Quartzite and Klondike Schist and one of a small granodiorite plug in the area were collected during 1975 and 1976 as part of a project to investigate the geology of the Clinton Creek asbestos deposit. Potassium-argon and rubidium-strontium analyses were performed to obtain dates for metamorphism of the area.
