Staked as Sun cl 1-58 (Y85486) in Sep/73 by Yukon Revenue Mines Ltd and optioned to Coast Copper Company Ltd, a Cominco Ltd subsidiary, which carried out mapping and soil sampling in 1974.
Restaked as Red cl 1-20 (YB65052) by P. Hajek in Oct/95.
Capsule Geology
The area is underlain by a generally conformably sequence of Upper Proterozoic carbonate and clastic strata that dip gently to the east.
Traces of sphalerite and galena fill fractures in Late Proterozoic Profeit Dolostone (Winderemere Supergroup), which occurs in a sequence of slate and quartzite.
