WORK HISTORY

Originally staked as Hazel claim (8398) near the headwaters of Touleary Creek in Sep/36.

*This occurrence was moved 2.25 km northeast in Aug/2011 to mirror current exploration activity.

Staked as Near cl 1-30 (YB31463) in Jul/90 by Sparkling Minerals Incorporated which staked Far cl 1-12 (YB31187) to the north at the same time. The company carried out prospecting, geological mapping and geochemical sampling in 1991 and trenching in 1993 (no report). These claims formed part of a larger block of claims that also encompassed Minfile Occurrence #115O 014, located km to the north.

Restaked as Kit cl 3-14 (YC07107) in May/98 by F. Anderson who carried out prospecting and rock and soil sampling in the summer of 1998 and a ground magnetic survey and further rock and soil sampling in 2003.

In Sep/2008 ATAC Resources Ltd staked TL cl 1-109 (YC76097) west of F. Anderson’s Kit claims. In Apr/2009 ATAC Resources staked TL cl 110-183 (YC93602) north and east of the Kit claims and Underworld Resource’s (now Kinross Gold Corp) neighboring Black Fox claims (Minfile Occurrence #115O 169). ATAC named the combined claim group the Touleary property. In Jun/2009 ATAC optioned a 50% interest in the property to Arcus Development Group Inc in return for cash, shares and certain work commitments (see Minfile Occurrence #1150 176 for Touleary property report).

In Jun/2009 F. Anderson optioned the Kit claims to Hinterland Metals Inc for cash, shares and certain work commitments. Later in the month and as part of this agreement Hinterland staked Tik cl 1-50 (YC95394) and cl 51-82 (YC95302) east and south of this occurrence. In 2009 Hinterland carried out soil sampling and airborne geophysical surveys over their claim holdings.

In 2010 Hinterland Metals collected deep auger-type soil samples and dug 4 trenches on the northwest portion of their claim holdings. In Sep/2010 the company staked Ba cl 1-104 (YD72511), cl 110-111 (YD72801) and cl 189-226 (YD72699) on the northeast side of their claim block.

On Jan 20, 2011 Hinterland Metals announced that they intended to spin-out their Yukon gold properties (including the Ballarat Creek claims) into a new company , Stakeholder Gold Corp. Following approval of the company’s shareholders the spin-out was completed in Jun/2011.

GEOLOGY

The occurrence is located northwest of the headwaters of Ballarat Creek and due east of the headwaters of Kirkman Creek. The area lies just north of the southern limits of detailed geological mapping carried out in the early 2000's by Gordey and Ryan (2005) of the Geological Survey of Canada. In addition Gordey and Makepeace also of the Geological Survey of Canada released a geological compilation of the Yukon in 2003 which covered this area. Based on the work of both mapping projects it appears the area is underlain by a series of thrust slices comprised of Devonian to Mississippian, quartzite, quartz-mica schist and amphibolite of the Yukon Tanana Terrane. These slices have been intruded by Permian age K-feldspar rich granitic orthogneiss (?). The thrust slices were uplifted through the brittle-ductile transition in the Jurassic and unconformably overlain by locally derived sedimentary and volcanic rocks in the Late Cretaceous (MacKenzie et al. 2008 ). F. Anderson a geologist with claim holdings in the area also mapped small pockets of other intrusive rocks of unknown age in the area, including pegmatite and apilite dikes and sills and gabbro.

No information can be found regarding the original Hazel claim/occurrence. Modern exploration has been focused on uncovering massive white, yellow stained quartz veins that locally contain cubic galena that intrude the area, apparently along planes of weakness. The contact between the veins and the country rock are sharp and occasionally show selvages of chlorite, epidote and hematite. No alteration of the country rock has been noted. Samples of this material located in float in 1990 assayed 31.7 g/t gold, 53 g/t silver and 1.5% lead.

Soil sampling in 1990 and 1998 outlined several areas of anomalous gold response on the Kit claims. Peak values up to 811 ppb gold were obtained from analysis of samples collected in 1990, but analysis of a smaller size fraction (150 versus 80 mesh) of the 1998 samples returned values that were in most cases significantly lower.
The 2003 magnetic geophysical survey on the Kit claims was too small to provide detailed analysis however general features were observable. Two quartz veins hosted by quartzofeldspathic gneiss were trenched and limited soil and rock sampling was carried out over the claims but no results were reported.

The discovery of the Golden Saddle deposit (Minfile Occurrence #115O 165) in 2008 by Underworld Resources (now Kinross Gold Corp - located approximately approximately 15 km to the northwest) sparked an extensive staking rush and a review of previous exploration in the area. Although no definitive deposit type has been assigned to the Golden Saddle deposit exploration in the region has been focus on locating intrusive related gold deposits.

Soil sampling by Hinterland in 2009 outlined two parallel, northeast-trending, linear gold anomalies in the northwestern corner of the property (across the Kit claims). Each anomaly is roughly 2 km long. The northern anomaly is better defined, more continuous and averages 100 to 150 m wide. The second anomaly, located roughly 200 m southeast of the first, is less definite, irregular and generally less tham 50 m wide. The anomalous gold area corresponds to a magnetic low that occurs on the northwestern margin of a circular magnetic high that covers most of the Ballarat property. Four quartz veins were located in the anomalous gold area.

Hinterland Resources 2010 soil sampling program employed deep auger sampling, the same method employed by S. Ryan, the person credited with the discovery of the White Gold deposit and subsequent staking rush. The program resulted better definition of the two previously discovered soil anomalies. Each anomaly appears to trend east-west for a minimum distance of 1000 m. The southern anomaly is now the best defined with maximum values up to 796 ppb gold and appears to overlie F. Anderson’s 1991 811 ppb gold anomaly. The 2010 trenches were dug before the soil sample results were obtained and did not test the gold in soil anomlies. The best result from trenching was 1.3 g/t gold obtained at a point located between the two soil anomalies.

The new location of the Ballarat occurrence (this occurrence) marks the approximate location of the 796 ppb gold value obtained from the 2010 soil sampling program. It is also approximately 100 m west of the location where in 1990 F. Anderson collected a sample of massive white, yellow stained quartz vein float that returned 31.7 g/t gold, 53 g/t silver and 1.5% lead.
