Discovered in 1985 by the GSC but the showings lie in an area withdrawn from staking.
Capsule Geology
Anthracite showings occur in an area underlain by Mississippian Kayak Formation shale. According to Norris these seams are less than a metre thick and have a high ash content and little economic potential.
