Work History

Staked as Kink cl (YB23160) in Sep/88 by W. Claxton, who trenched to bedrock in conjunction with placer mining activity in 1988, 1989 and 1990.

Capsule Geology

Trenching exposed six gold-bearing veins across a 100 m width. The veins consist of quartz-siderite lenses up to 0.5 m wide, in gouge and breccia-filled fracture zones up to 4 m wide which cut graphite schist of the Nasina Series (Devono-Mississippian). The fracture zones strike northwest and dip moderately to the northeast.
