Work History
Staked as Chels cl (YA87512) in Jul/85 by Nordac Mg Corp, which performed limited mapping and chip sampling in 1984 and 1985. Imperial Metals Corp staked Hun cl (YB17744) 1 km to the south in Aug/88.
Restaked as Big Gold cl (YB23470) in May, July and September 1989 by L. Turner and Dredge Master Gold L. Restaked by B. McDonald as Big Gold 27-32 cl (YB41462) along with a separate group of Big Gold claims (25-26) 2 km to the northeast in Sept/92.
G. Eftada staked Mandy cl 1-2 (YC04303) 2 km to the south in Jun/97.
Capsule Geology
Quartz-carbonate veins and breccia filling and associated iron and manganese staining are exposed in a road cut through quartzite and chlorite-sericite schist (Klondike Schist: Permian). One specimen returned an anomalous gold assay but check sampling gave negative results.
