Work History

Staked as Caraboo Mine, etc cl (707) in Nov, 1895 by C. Constantine, C. Hamilton and E. Monohan, who also added the Star Mine cl (708) across the river.
Restaked as Aurora cl (12253) in Aug/12 and restaked as Verlene cl (15424) in Jun/28 by W.A. Luick.

Capsule Geology

The 1912 claim application stated that this was an asbestos occurrence. Small ultramafic bodies and one volcanic dike or flow of Tertiary age are mapped this area, which is mainly underlain by quartzite and schist of the Nasina Series.
