Work History
Staked as Teddy & Mary cl (78310) in May/57 following an aeromag survey by a joint venture between Asbestos Corp and Yukon Cons Gold Corp, which performed mapping and a ground mag survey.
The aeromag anomaly was restaked by the joint venture as Foxy cl (79136) in Aug/62 and Keno cl (79406) in Sep/63 and explored with mapping, a mag survey, trenching and 4 x-ray holes (114.3 m) in 1963 and 2 holes (301.8 m) on Foxy 11 claim in 1964.
The target was fringe staked as Jay & Ern cl (87491) in Jun/66 by Voels Int Dev L, and was restaked as Flute cl (Y65035) in Jun/71 by Montego Res L and as Add cl (Y81727) in Aug/72 by D. Reinke.
Capsule Geology
The claims were staked on an aeromagnetic anomaly at the east end of a poorly exposed ultramafic body at least 150 m thick that is enclosed within graphite schist of the Nasina Series. The ultramafic body is composed of partially to intensely serpentinized peridotite. Chryostile veinlets are associated with both strongly sheared and blocky serpentinite in trenches and drill core. Veinlets up to 8 mm were reported but average grade is visually estimated at less than 2%.
