Work History

Staked as Manoa, Galena, etc cl (15145) in Mar/27 by F. Envoldsen, L. Roal, and P. Rost , who explored by hand trenching and a short adit. Restaked as Edith cl (79499) in Jun/64 by W. DeWolfe and transferred in Apr/65 to Topazios Mg CL.

Capsule Geology

A limy bed, about 20 cm thick, in a sequence of Paleozoic? schist is partially replaced by galena and sphalerite near a porphyry dyke. The adit was driven downhill from the mineralization in unmineralized schist. A skarn specimen collected by Steve Kormandy in 1970 assayed 3.2% Pb, 92.6 g/t Ag, 0.1% Cu and 0.02% WO3.
