Capsule Geology
The Dom group follows the wide gravel-filled valley of Dominion Creek, which in this area is underlain by muscovitic and chloritic quartzite and quartz-muscovite-chlorite schist of the Permian Klondike Schist Assemblage (unit Pks). Coarsely crystalline bands of marble (unit Pc) occur within the schists. The drilling returned no significant gold values but up to 20 ppm Ag over 3.0 m were reported.
