Work History

Staked as Sul cl (YA80123) in June, 1984 by a joint venture between United Keno Hill Mines Ltd. and Falconbridge Ltd., which drilled a fence of percussion holes (533.4 m) later in the year.
Restaked within a large block of Sur claims by Barrimundi Gold Ltd in Jun/96.

Capsule Geology

The area is underlain by quartz and feldspar augen-bearing quartz-muscovite schist of the Permian Klondike Schist Assemblage. The schist unit is interpreted to be a felsic metaporphyry, and grades southwest into gneissic biotite quartz monzonite of the Sulphur Creek orthogneiss (unit Pqmg). Chlorite schist (unit Psc) occurs to the northeast.
