Work History
Staked as White Star and Comet cl (7332) in Sep/06 by A. McCormack, who drove a 13 m adit in 1907. G.H. Lawrence added Trafalgar, etc cl in Oct/06 and staked another small block about 3.2 km downstream on the east bank, at the mouth of Rosebute Creek, at the same time.
Capsule Geology
The area is underlain by Paleozoic? metasedimentary rocks. The claims were probably staked on barren quartz veins, although early newspaper reports were quite promotional.
