Work History
Staked as 148 Vina cl (Y38361) in Oct/69 by a joint venture between Atlas EL and Dynasty EL, which conducted reconnaissance geochem and mapping in 1969 and grid soil sampling, mag survey and detailed geological mapping of selected areas in 1970.
Capsule Geology
The general geological setting consists of Paleozoic? metamorphic rocks intruded by Klotassin granodiorite. Small Tertiary granitic stocks and dykes intrude both the granodiorite and the metamorphic rocks. Small amounts of pyrite, chalcopyrite and molybdenite are found in hairline quartz veins and dry fractures in 4 localities in unaltered granite near the centre of the claims. Geochemical anomalies were found over the known mineralized areas.
