Work History
Staked as Klot and Chris cl (Y58961) in Sep/70 by Can Occidental Pet L, which conducted grid soil sampling and geological mapping in 1971. The K cl (YA8066) were restaked to the northwest in Aug/76 by Mug JV (Malabar Silver, Union OL and Getty Mg), which explored with mapping and sampling later in the year.
Restaked as BGD cl (YA24781) in Jul/79 by Eldorado Nuclear L in a joint venture with Can Occidental Pet L, which added more claims in 1981. In 1982, Eldorado changed its name to Eldorado Res L.
Capsule Geology
Minor molybdenite and chalcopyrite occur in dry fractures and as disseminations in a miarolitic alaskite stock of Tertiary age. Silt from streams draining this stock is also anomalous in uranium.
