Work History
Staked as Won cl 9-100(Y82258) in Oct/73 following an airborne geophysical survey by Kerr Addison Mines Ltd, which performed ground magnetic, geological mapping, soil sampling and hand pitting in 1974. The company added Won cl 101-118 (Y82967) on the south side in Jul/74, drilled 6 diamond drill holes (567.2 m) in 1975 and conducted an IP survey in 1975 and 1976.
Capsule Geology
Pyrite, chalcopyrite and molybdenite are disseminated and in fractures cutting chlorite schist and biotite granodiorite. The best mineralization was found in an argillic and phyllic altered zone in the intrusion beneath a capping of unmineralized Mt Nansen Group volcanics.
