Work History

Staked as coal lease 26391 in Apr/10 by G. Minchin and lease 27418 in Dec/11 by G. Grenier, who explored with a 9 m shaft and a short adit. Shown on old river charts as Greniers' Coal Mine.

Capsule Geology

Bituminous coal of good quality is reported to occur in the Lower Jurassic Laberge Group. Only low grade shaly coal is present on dumps of caved workings. Intrusive and volcanic rocks outcrop nearby.
