Work History
Staked as Bit, Bridle, etc cl (63890) in Sep/52 by Callinan Flin Flon ML, which conducted mapping in 1953 and an SP survey in 1955. Newmont staked Kew cl (Y20514) nearby in Aug/67 and transferred them to Quill Creek Copper ML later in the year.
Columbia Mg L restaked the area as the Arnold, Norm & Plata cl (YA94867) in Jun/86 and performed road building later in the year.
Fringe staking included New cl (YA97960) in Jun/87 by Harjay ECL to the south, PC cl (YA97796) in Jun/87 by Avanti Mls L to the west, PS cl (YA97974) in Jun/87 by Walhalla EL to the east and G cl (YB6930) in Aug/87 by G. Anders to the SW. The PC claims were transferred to Gold City Res Inc in Jun/88 and the G claims to Fred Mls in Oct/88.
Capsule Geology
Gabbro float was found but the source is covered by overburden. The claims cover a contact between a Cretaceous intrusion with Upper Triassic Nikolai Greenstone and sedimentary rocks of the Permian Hasen Creek Formation. No mineralization or geophysical anomalies were found.
