Work History
Staked as Laura cl (Y97742) in Jul/75 by a joint venture between Great Plains Dev Cl (Norcen Energy Res L) & Kerr Addison ML, which carried out mapping and geochem sampling and drilled 3 x-ray holes (79.2 m) later in the year.
Capsule Geology
The claims are underlain by mudstone and limestone of the Late Proterozoic Rapitan Formation, which are thrust over Lower Cambrian sedimentary rocks. Pyrite and sphalerite were found as float and an area of hydrozincite weathering was found in brecciated zebra dolomite of the Cambro-Ordovician Franklin Mountain Formation.
