Noted by the GSC in 1905 and 1962 but apparently not investigated until it was acquired by Cyprus Anvil Mg Corp in Jul/76 as Coal Exploration Licence #46 and mapped and sampled by the GSC in 1977.
Capsule Geology
Eight seams of lignite, varying in thickness from 1 to 10 cm, occur in a 15 m sandstone layer within the upper Paleocene section of the Bonnet Plume Formation.
