Staked as Poo cl (Y95848) in Aug/74 by Dynasty Explorations Ltd and transferred to Cyprus Anvil Mining Corporation Ltd, which conducted geochem sampling and prospecting in 1975.
Capsule Geology
The region is underlain by variably faulted Middle Proterozoic Pinguicula group rocks and Middle toUpper Proterozoic Hematite Creek (formerly Upper Pinguicula) carbonate and clastic rocks.
Minor amounts of sphalerite and galena occur in fault zones cutting Pinguicula Group (Unit C) dolostone.
