Staked as Andrea cl (YA62933) in Jul/81 by Prism Res L, which performed mapping and geochem sampling later in the year. Restaked as Joy cl (YB18099) in Jun/91 by G. Carlson.
Capsule Geology
Massive bedded barite overlies a chert pebble conglomerate in a shale-chert-quartzite sequence of Devono-Mississippian age. The barite horizon was traced for about 1200 m. No base metal occurrences or anomalies were found.
