Work History

Staked as C cl (83919) in Feb/65 by Arivaca EL through a leak in geochemical information collected by the GSC in a stream sediment survey (Operation Keno) in 1964, which was not released until Apr/65. Arivaca performed airborne and ground EM surveys in 1966 and hand pitting in 1967.

Capsule Geology

The claims covered a zinc stream sediment anomaly from a creek draining a thrust faulted sequence of Proterozoic to Lower Cambrian Hyland Group, Mississippian Keno Hill quartzite and felsic metavolcanic rocks of the Devono-Mississippian Earn Group intruded by greenstone sills of Triassic age. At least one EM anomaly was found but no mineralization was located.
