Work History
The eastern location was staked as Pete cl (97760) in Dec/65 by Golden Gate EL and the western location as North cl (Y10578) by C. Wood in Aug/66. Golden Gate flew an airborne mag survey later in the year.
Capsule Geology
Minor copper-zinc mineralization was rumoured to have been found at both locations. The Pete group is underlain by quartzose siltstone and chert of Cambro-Ordovician age while the North group is underlain by Cambro-Ordovician basalt and tuff.
