Work History
Staked as Yeti cl (93518) in Nov/65 by Anvil Mg Corp L (Cyprus and Dynasty). The MC cl (99846) were tied on to the northeast in Feb/66 by P. Versluce. Anvil's staking was based on airborne mag and EM anomalies with associated gossans and reconnaissance geochem anomalies. Only limited follow-up was done in 1966.
Partially restaked on the west side as Zap and Rog cl (YA3376) in Aug/75 by Northern Homestake ML, which changed its name to Thunderwood EL early in 1976.
Capsule Geology
The claims are probably underlain by a faulted contact between Ordovician-Silurian Road River Formation sedimentary rocks and Permian chert. No mineralization was reported.
