Work History
Staked as Paige cl (Y5056) in Apr/66 by Anvil Mg Corp L on airborne mag and EM anomalies obtained the previous year. Only limited soil sampling and ground geophysics was performed by Anvil.
Restaked as Alta cl (Y63942) in Nov/71 by the Anvil Synd (Can. Reserve O & GL, Aquitaine C of Can. L, Can. Southern Pet. L, Occidental Mls L, and Husky OL) which explored in 1972 by mapping, gravity and geochem surveys.
Restaked as Lolo cl (Y98460) in May/75 by Lobell ML, which conducted a magnetic survey later in the year.
Capsule Geology
The claims are overburden covered but are probably underlain by Cambro-Ordovician quartzose siltstone and chert. A magnetic anomaly outlined in 1975 coincides with a residual gravity high found in the 1972 survey.
