Work History
Staked as Lees cl 1-49 (Yl594) in Mar/66 by the Zippx Syndicate, adjoining the Mor cl 1-88 (95066) which were staked in Dec/65 by Anvil Mining Corp Ltd. Zippx flew airborne magnetic and EM surveys in 1966.
Restaked by the same individuals as Acme cl 5-28 (Y60693) in Jun/71 and optioned by Dynasty Exploration Ltd, which carried out geological mapping, soil sampling, magnetic, EM and gravity surveying. The claims were transferred to Archer, Cathro & Associates Ltd in late 1971.
Capsule Geology
Dynasty investigated an airborne anomaly found in 1966 and outlined a coincident EM, mag and gravity anomaly in an overburden covered area. The area is underlain by Permian basalt of the Anvil Range Group. Minor chalcopyrite was found in serpentinite. The mid-Cretaceous Orchay batholith occurs in the northern part of the area.
