Work History
Staked as Rog cl (Y55461) in Jul/71 by Hudson Bay M & S on zinc silt anomalies found in 1970. Explored by grid soil sampling in 1971 and 5 drill holes (273 m) and trenching in 1972.
Restaked as 100 Shell claims by Cominco Ltd in Aug/90, which performed a soil geochemical survey in 1991.
Capsule Geology
Soil sampling outlined a zinc anomaly 460 m long and 90 m wide. Drilling encountered weakly pyritic black graphitic argillite and cherty argillite of the Ordovician-Silurian Road River Group which had a high zinc background.
