Discovered with prospecting in 1977 and 1978 by the Basin Project of Welcome North ML.

Capsule Geology

Variable amounts of galena, sphalerite, hydrozincite and scheelite occur in diopside skarn that has developed in Proterozoic or Lower Cambrian limy phyllites and limestones adjacent to the Cretaceous Mt. Billings Batholith.
