Work History
Staked as Woah cl 1-56 (YA25740) in Sep/77 by Welcome North Mines Ltd, which explored with mapping and sampling in 1977 and 1978. The property was optioned to Riocanex, which performed rock geochem sampling and in 1981 to Union Carbide.
Capsule Geology
Galena and sphalerite occur in skarn and quartz veins at the irregular contact between rocks of the Proterozoic/Lower Cambrian Hyland Group and Cretaceous Mt. Billings Batholith.
