Capsule Geology

Minor amounts of chalcopyrite and scheelite occur in a shear zone cutting Proterozoic Hyland Group clastic rocks. To the southeast, scheelite and pyrrhotite occur in skarn layers up to 3.5 m thick, which formed from limy beds at the contact of a small Cretaceous pluton.
