Work History
Staked as part of a large block of Angie cl (YA20427) in Jun/77 by the Woodside Project (Getty & Welcome North), which performed mapping, geochem sampling and trenching in 1978 and 1979. Restaked as WLN cl (YB10624) in Dec/87 by Welcome North.
Prime Capital Corp. staked Ran cl (YB09671) 2 km north in Nov/87 and added more Ran claims, which were optioned to Halcyon Res L in Jul/88, plus Pix cl (YB14618) 0.5 km to the south and Stregg cl (YB14628) 2 km to the east in Aug/88.
The Ran cl were transferred to A. Carlos in Feb/93.
Capsule Geology
Disseminated sphalerite, pyrite and a trace of galena occur at the same stratigraphic position as the Angie occurrence (Minfile 105F 091) in Devonian carbonaceous limestone and calcareous siltstone. Individual specimens grade up to 5.5% Zn and 3.4 g/t Ag but the best trench sample assayed only 0.3% Zn and 2.4 g/t Ag over 2 m.
