Work History

Staked as SAL cl (YA24671) in Jul/79 by Can Occidental Pet L, which performed mapping and geochem sampling later in the year.

Capsule Geology

The claims are underlain by muscovite-biotite quartz monzonite near the northern margin of the Cretaceous Nisutlin Batholith and were staked to cover a geochemical anomaly from the GSC's Uranium Reconnaissance Program. Stream sediment values ranged from 72 to 227 ppm U. Weakly anomalous radioactivity is associated with hematite-stained fractures within the quartz monzonite but the highest uranium assay was only 41 ppm U.
