Work History

Discovered by the GSC in 1944 and first staked in Jun/77 as part of a large block of Angie cl (YA18619) by the Woodside Project (Getty and Welcome North). D. MacDonald staked Big cl (YB14612) 4 km to the south in Aug/88.

Capsule Geology

This occurrence, which is only exposed in the river bed during low water, contains similar galena mineralization to that sampled by the GSC in the Canusa Vein (MINFILE 105F 040). The Lapie vein cuts shale of Ordovician-Silurian age that is at least partly correlative with the Road River Formation.
