Work History
Staked as Maybe cl (YA60692) in Jun/81 by DuPont, which performed limited mapping and geochem sampling later in the year. The east side over the placer workings in May Creek was restaked as Linsey cl (YA86002) in Oct/84 by C.M. EL, which performed hand trenching in 1985 and 1986. D. Gonder tied on DLG cl (YB6655) in Jul/87 and RP cl (YB6942) with R. Pawluk in Aug/87 and built a road on the DLG cl in 1988.
Capsule Geology
The claims are underlain by late Paleozoic amphibolite, meta-basalt and amphibolitic gneiss belonging of the Anvil Allochthon and were staked on a gold stream geochemical anomaly. Minor galena and pyrite were found in vuggy, limonitic quartz float.
