Work History

Staked as West cl (YA22555) in Apr/78 by Ross Bennett JV (E & B EL, Welcome North ML, Kennco EL & Malabar Silver ML), which performed mapping, geochem and radiometric surveys in 1978 and soil sampling in 1979.

Capsule Geology

The claims were staked on uranium silt anomalies in streams draining granodiorite and leucocratic quartz monzonite of the Coast Range Batholith. Ground surveys outlined a uranium soil anomaly with values up to 670 ppm U. Material from a radioactive spring assayed as high as 4129 ppm U.
Minor molybdenum was found in fractures cutting the quartz monzonite.
