Work History
Staked as AZ cl (Y24423) in Apr/68 by Lewes River ML, which flew an airborne mag survey later in the year. Optioned in Sep/69 by Canex, which conducted ground mag and IP surveys in 1969 and drilled 3 holes (367.3 m) in 1970.
Capsule Geology
The claims are situated in the overburden covered Yukon River valley and were staked to cover the projected northwest contact of the Whitehorse Stock. The holes were drilled to test a linear IP anomaly. One hole was lost in overburden and the other two cut highly faulted greywacke and carbonaceous, weakly pyritic limestone. Overburden depth ranges from 25 to 75 m.
