Work History
Staked as Liz, Tin & Jef cl (YA91465) in Aug/86 by D. Schellenberg & H. Hibbing and optioned to Pak-Man Res L and 2001 Res Industries L, which explored with mapping, geochem sampling and trenching in 1987, and geochem, mag and VLF surveys, mapping and 11 drillholes (743 m) in 1988.
Capsule Geology
Oxidized veins containing galena and sphalerite occupy two parallel, NE-trending fault zones that cut Cambrian limestone and phyllite on the east flank of a small Cretaceous stock. One vein was exposed over a length of 300 m.
Drilling indicated that structures are continous to depth and oxidized to a depth of 127 m below surface. The longest mineralized drill intersections were assayed for germanium and gallium. The highest value was 59 ppm Ge.
