Work History
Staked as Wind cl (YA69590) in Feb/83 by Beaver Res Inc, which performed geochem sampling in 1983 and line-cutting and prospecting in 1985 and 1986. Nearby fringe claims staked during Feb-Jun/83 include Sun cl (YA69560) to the west by Algo Res L, which were transferred to Jantar Res Corp in 1984; Run cl (YA69812) to the east by Tungco Res Corp, which conducted geochem surveys in 1983; Cord cl (YA69768) to the northwest by Bellabon Res L, which performed geochem, geological and geophysical surveys in 1984; Drill cl (YA69760) to the north by Goldfarm Res L, which carried out geological, geochem and geophysical surveys in 1983 and transferred them to Gunsteel Res Inc in 1985; and Zam cl (YA70344) to the north by W.E. England Drilling CL, which transferred them to Acorn Res L in 1984.
J. Sheldon tied on Jay cl (YB1308) to the north in Sep/87.
Capsule Geology
Two mineralized exposures found in 1985 returned assays ranging from 41.1 to 425.1 g/t Ag and 1.6 to 19.5% Pb. The property is underlain by Devono-Mississippian argillite, slate, phyllite, chert, greywacke, and conglomerate. A weak lead and zinc geochem anomaly was outlined over an area of 150 by 1500 m.
