Work History

Investigated in 1971-72 with geochem sampling by Wolf Lake JV (Ashland 0 Can L, Rayrock ML, Can Ind G & OL, Caltor Synd). First staked in Mar/85 by Archer, Cathro as VEL cl (YA73191), which were sold to Nordac Mg Corp and optioned to Shakwak ECL. Shakwak explored with mapping and geochem sampling later in the year. The VEL claims were renamed REV claims in 1986. Nordac changed its name to Big Creek Res L in 1987 and performed a small geochem survey in 1988.

Capsule Geology

The claims were staked on anomalous silver, lead and zinc soil and silt values in an area underlain by Cambrian sedimentary rocks near the margin of the Marker Lake Batholith.
