Work History
Staked as Bingy cl (Y83335) in Sep/74 by Hudson Bay Mg, which conducted mapping, soil sampling, mag and EM-17 surveys in 1975. Restaked as AG cl (YA25611) in Sep/77 by P. Versluce. Wolf Lake Project (Comaplex Res Int L and Dayton Creek Silver ML) tied on the Com 45-53 cl (YA35736) in Nov/78.
The AG group was optioned and surrounded by MN cl (YA90333) in Sep/85 by Tally-Ho EL, which performed geological mapping, prospecting and geochem sampling in 1986 and continued this work in 1987 in a joint venture with Croesus Res Inc.
In Oct/94 the showing was restaked as Wad cl 1-12 by W. Fisher.
Capsule Geology
Hudson Bay found galena and sphalerite in vein faults near the contact between a biotite-muscovite granodiorite phase of the Cassiar Batholith and Lower Cambrian biotite schist and gneiss. Four separate northwest-trending zones were trenched and sampled in 1986 and 1987. Five galena-rich specimens from three zones assayed in 1986 averaged 2982.8 g/t Ag, 42.4% Pb and 7.1% Zn.
