Work History
Staked as Herpes cl 1-16 (YA66805) in Aug/81 by the CUB Joint Venture (Brinco Mining Ltd, formerly Cassiar Asbestos Corporation Ltd, Highland Crow Resources Ltd and Union Carbide Canada Ltd), which performed geochem surveys later in the year.
Capsule Geology
The claims are underlain by a small Cretaceous granite stock that intrudes Upper Proterozoic to Lower Cambrian phyllites and limestones of the undivided Vampire-Narchilla Formations. The claims were staked on anomalous levels of scheelite in creek gravels. No in situ mineralization was found.
