Staked as Chu cl (Y17916) in Jul/67 by J. Melnychuk, who dug six small had pits
Capsule Geology
Up to 10% galena and 2% sphalerite are erratically exposed for a length of 30.4 m and thicknesses of 0.3 to 0.6 m. The mineralization occurs in pale wollastonite-diopside-anthophyllite skarn developed in carbonate horizons in the undivided Neoproterozoic to Cambrian Narchilla-Vampire formation, which strike north-northeast and dip 20 to 50° southeast. No intrusive rocks have been found on surface.
