HISTORY
 
Between July and Aug/2009, Messrs. R. Stack, G. Lee and R. Scott staked LH cl 1-41 (YC94943) to the south. The claims would later connect the Rubus claims (occurrence host) to the Golden Culvert (Minfile Occurrence #105H 0067) property located 7 km to the south.
 
Staked as Rubus cl 1-50 (YD29576) and cl 51-60 (YD31301) in Aug/2010 by Messrs. Stack, Lee and Scott, who consolidated the claims with the Golden, Culvert and other neighboring claims to form the Little Hyland project. In 2010 the group carried out preliminary rock, soil and silt sampling on the Rubus claims.
 
On June 20, 2011 Commander Resources Ltd optioned the Little Hyland project from the ownership group in return for cash, shares and certain work commitments. The agreement did not include the Golden Culvert property or Rubus claims 9-38, 47-50 and 51-60 (northern portion of claim group) which were separated from the agreement based on ownership interests.
 
In Aug/2011 the ownership group carried out a separate VLF-EM geophysical survey and additional rock, soil and silt sampling on the northern end of the Rubus claim block.

In Jul/2012 the ownership group staked Rubus cl 61-78 (YD31316) on the southeast side of the northern Rubus claim group. In Aug/2013 the ownership group staked Rubus cl 75-78 (YD31330) on the northwest side of the claim group.
 
On December 27, 2013 Yukon Government passed an Order in Council (O.I.C. 2013/224) prohibiting entry on certain lands (Ross River Area) for the purpose of staking Quartz or Placer Mining claims. The Order was made to facilitate continuing consultation with the Ross River Dena Council and covers the area where the Culvert, Golden, Rubus and other claims are located. The Order in Council provides registered active claims holders in the affected area relief from annual assessment work obligations. The Order in Council has been renewed several times and is currently valid to January 31, 2019 (it may be renewed in the future).
 
On June 30, 2016 Commander Resources dropped its option on the Little Hyland property and returned the claims to the ownership group thus once again consolidating all of the Rubus, Golden Culvert claims and Little Hyland project/property under one group.
 
On September 27, 2017 South Shore Partnership Inc, a private company, acquired an option to acquire the Golden Culvert property and the northern portion of the Rubus claims in return for cash, shares and certain work commitments. The partnership also optioned the Little Hyland North and Little Hyland South claims (formerly named Little Hyland project/property) located directly north and south of the Golden Culvert property under a separate option agreement. In total the partnership optioned 431 contiguous quartz claims. The two separate option agreements were required to cover separate ownership interests, i.e. Scott and Lee in the first agreement and Scott, Lee and prospector Ron Stack in the second group.
 
On October 23, 2017 South Shore Partnership assigned the two option agreements to Stratabound Minerals Corp in return for staged cash and share payments and Stratabound assuming the previous negotiated work commitments. Following the signing of the agreement Stratabound completed a due diligence site visit to the properties where they collected a series of rock samples from various showings. The visit and resulting assays confirmed past field results and on December 18, 2017, Stratabound Minerals finalized the option agreements.
 
On February 12, 2018. Stratabound Minerals filed a NI-43-101 compliant Technical Report on the Golden Culvert, Rubus and Little Hyland properties with SEDAR.

GEOLOGY
 
The Rubus property (northern portion) is located approximately 260 km north of the Town of Watson Lake in southeast Yukon. The southern boundary of the property is located on the northwest side of the Little Hyland River, and approximately 2 km northwest of the Nahanni Range road. The Howards’ Pass winter trail runs along the west side of the property and provides ATV access to much of the property. More remote parts of the property are accessed by helicopter.
 
The majority of the area has not yet been remapped by the Yukon Geological Survey. In early 2016 M. Colpron of the Yukon Geological Survey (YGS) released an updated geological compilation map of the Yukon which included this area. In late 2016 D. Moynihan of the YGS released a 1:50 000 geology map of the Upper Hyland River area. The map mainly covered map sheets 105H 09, 10, 15 and 16, and the very southeast corner of the Rubus claims.
 
Neither Lee, nor any other geologist has carried out any appreciable amount of geological mapping on the Rubus claims/property. The Little Hyland River Valley is entirely underlain by Neoproterozoic to Lower Cambrian Hyland Group (Windermere Supergroup), clastic rocks. Based on known geology and extrapolating Moynihan’s mapping to the south, the property appears to be entirely underlain by Vampire Formation rocks comprised of dark brown, fine-grained and thinly-bedded, argillaceous sandstone and siltstone with minor, interbedded, medium- to coarse-grained, white to light grey orthoquartzite, phyllite, slate and argillite.
 
Mid-Cretaceous granitic intrusions assigned to the Tungsten Suite are known to intrude units in the region, but to date no evidence has been found to indicate the presence of these intrusions within the property. In addition the majority of gold occurrences found in the region to date show no proximal or distal features normally associated with intrusive activity.
 
Messrs. R. Stack, G. Lee and R. Scott staked the LH and Rubus claims to cover the presumed northwest trend of gold mineralization identified on the Golden Culvert property located approximately 7 km to the south. The Rubus claims (northern portion) was separated from the southern Rubus, LH and other claims comprising the Little Hyland property due to varying claim ownership interests. Scott and Lee own the northern Rubus claims while the southern Rubus, LH and other claims are owned by Scott, Lee and Stack.

Preliminary soil and silt sampling carried out in 2010 on the Rubus claims return anomalous gold values along the length of the property. Arsenic values display a similar pattern to gold but show consistently higher values in the northern part of the property. A single float sample collected from a mini slide area near the center of the property (UTM ~524618 E, 6878893 N) and described as a rusty fine grained rock containing pyrite, minor quartz and yellowish green scordite stain returned 315 ppm gold, 0.4 ppm silver and 5 060 ppm arsenic.
 
In 2011 G. Lee collected 3 lines of soil samples over Rubus claim 51 located on the northwest side of the claim block. Lee plotted the results on maps displaying recently released public airborne magnetic data collected by the Yukon Geological Survey. The five highest gold results (0.159, 0.157, 0.053, 0.27, and 0.20 ppm gold) plot on or close to the contacts between magnetic highs and lows. The two highest arsenic results (2 300 and 1 540 ppm arsenic) are also located on or near the magnetic contacts. A rock sample (SRU-42) collected from outcrop located near a mag contact returned an assay of 3 690 ppm lead but only 0.003 ppm gold. Observations recorded while prospecting show that outcrops appear to be offset from the magnetic contacts, suggesting soil sampling should be used as a primary exploration tool.
 
The occurrence location marks the location of the best gold and arsenic (SRU-43 - 0.159 ppm gold, 2 300 ppm arsenic) soil sample result obtained to date. In general, the anomalous gold and arsenic values found on the Rubus claims lie on trend (northwest-southeast) with the gold mineralization previously discovered at the Main zone located on the Golden Culvert property. Stratabound Minerals optioned the entire property to explore for “orogenic” type gold deposits similar to that found on Golden Predator’s 3 Ace project (Minfile Occurrence #105H 066), located 20 km south of the property.
 
Stratabound Minerals did not collect any samples from the Rubus claims during their due diligence site visit.
