Discovered by Murphy and Heon during 1:50 000 scale geological mapping in 1993.
Capsule Geology
The area is underlain by the Boulder Creek diorite stock. A sample collected by Murphy and Heon containing disseminated copper mineralization assayed 186 ppb Au, 295 ppm Cu and 669 ppm Zn.
