Discovered by Mortensen (1996) during a regional mapping program conducted in the mid 1990's.
Capsule Geology
Traces of disseminated galena occur within a very rusty-weathering band of pyritic muscovite-quartz schist (unit Psqm) of the Permian Klondike Schist Assemblage. The galena gives a Permian Pb isotopic age, and the sulphides are interpreted to be syngenetic in origin.
